Location has always been a prime factor when considering to purchase one’s house. Ideally, house buyers would prefer homes that allow them easy access to entertainment and work, which is a moment's drive away. But why drive when you can walk?

Check out our winners of the Awards 2019 category—The Just-Walk Developments Award and find out more:

The Just-Walk Developments Award goes to the development that epitomises the ‘Work, Play, Live & learn’ concept. The development is built with a choice selection of amenities within walking distance. The winning community should have a lower carbon footprint due to the ‘just-walk’ factor that is the result of an integrated, sustainable, and liveable environment.

Trio by Setia

Bright new landmark in southern Klang

Trio by Setia will be the most prominent residential landmark in Southern Klang. This integrated development comprises 788 serviced apartments in three towers and a four-storey commercial phase of 42 retail units, F&B space and office parcels.

A two-tier deck offers high-end facilities for Trio’s community. Part of it is a two-acre cascading feature that resembles a terraced padi field. Trio’s commitment to low-carbon footprint includes rainwater harvesting and designated electric vehicle charger station.

Pedestrians will have easy access to shopping malls, medical centre, educational institution, hotels and convention hall. The upcoming Bukit Tinggi LRT3 station will make Trio a transit-oriented development and raise property values.

Penang Sentral

One-stop transport hub offers seamless connectivity

Penang Sentral, the largest and only Transit Oriented Development in Butterworth, serves as an integrated transportation hub connecting KTM’s electric and Komuter train, intercity express and stage buses, taxi and ferry services.

Envisaged as the gateway to the Northern Corridor of Malaysia, the hub is modelled after the Sentral CBD in Kuala Lumpur and designed to ease commuting with improved access and fully integrated facilities as well as features like a centralised ticketing system, terminal operating system, public information display system, and taxi queue management system.

Besides encouraging the use of public transportation to reduce traffic congestion and pollution, the hub was designed to be environment-friendly with reduced energy consumption and a proper waste management system.

Within Penang Sentral is a commercial centre comprising a multitude of retail, food and beverage, renowned local and international brand outlets, e-sports, co-working spaces, and placemaking event space.
