Mont Kiara Pines is among the pioneer of Mont Kiara's luxurious livings. Even though it is among the oldest pads in Mont Kiara, this does not mean that Pines is one of the bad condominiums in the area. In fact, it is still a good place to stay and keep its tenants, even for another decade from now.
Taking advantage of its age, residents of Mont Kiara Pines decided to use the sinking fund to upgrade and enhance facilities and features after the management power was transferred to the residents. The renovation cost was close to RM4 millions and the works started in June 2006.
These upgrades include extension of its three lobbies, replacing the floor tiles with granite and timber, fresh coat of paint to all towers including roofs, major upgrade to entrance and guardhouse area, cascading waterfalls, green putting (miniature golf), landscaping, parks, pavements, stone cladding on columns, art galleries in all three towers, change of street lights, replacing street lights, adding and replacing park and street furniture, changing amenity halls floor, and adding of louvers at swimming pool area.
