BU6 (also known as Bandar Utama 6) are 2 1/2 storey units that are strategically located right in the heart of one of Selangor's major towns, Bandar Utama, Selangor. It is believed that this development by First Nationwide Group was completed in 2004. Among BU6's immediate neighbours are BU3 and BU7. Those who prefer newer development may opt for The Effingham across the street.
The houses at BU6 have freehold land tenure with individual land title. It is one of the six phases completed in Bandar Utama. Although the development is relatively new, some owners have already renovated their homes since their purchase from the developer. Therefore, some of the units that are on sale or for rent comes with renovated kitchen or bathroom. Some units even have built-in kitchen cabinets, automated gate and plaster ceiling.
There are several basic neighbourhood amenities provided by the developer of BU6 for the residents' convenience. There are a number of schools that are located in the neighborhood, namely SMK Bandar Utama Damansara 4, SK Bandar Utama Damansara 4, SJKC Puay Chai, SMK Sri Angsana and a private college, Kolej Bandar Utama (KBU). Inside the neighbourhood compound, there is a sizeable park with jogging trails and a couple of gazebos. The neighbourhood is also strategically located next to a community centre that offers tennis courts, basketball court, badminton court and a community hall.
Public transportation is readily available at BU6 as Central park at Bandar Utama is acting as one of the main bus hub, giving you the options of heading to Kelana Jaya and Taman Paramount LRT stations, as well as Aeroline services for direct transpiration to Singapore and Penang. This township is among the most in-demand places to live in due to its vicinity to commercial areas and shopping malls.
In terms of accessibility, BU6 has a convenient access to Lebuhraya Damansara - Puchong (LDP) and SPRINT Highway. Access to New Klang Expressway (NKVE) and North - South Highway is also convenient via several main roads.
BU6 can get somewhat crowded during the weekends but it is still worth the huge investment made in the long run especially with the presence of neighboring affluent neighborhoods such as Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI), Kota Damansara and Tropicana.
The prices of the BU6 homes vary according to the additions made to the homes. The price can fluctuate between RM1,450,000 and RM3,000,000. The price is considered to be fair as per their location as this township is among the most in-demand places to live in due to its vicinity to commercial areas and shopping malls.
The BU6 units are best suited for the family of 4 to 5, particularly those with growing kids as there are plenty of schools to choose from within walking distance or a short drive away. Family time on the weekends can be spent at Centrepoint Bandar Utama, the neighborhood shopping mall. The mall is home to the Dragon-i Chinese restaurant, Secret Recipe and many more well-known eateries and cafes.
