    In terms of accessibility, most residents here in Dataran Ukay enjoy great access to the highways. It is accessible from Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2), Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH) and Duta-Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE). However, Dataran Ukay is only accessible from one side of MRR2, which is the one towards Ampang from Melawati.

    Hence, if you need to use DUKE, you need to drive all the way till Ampang exit to make a U-turn. Even though it is just 750m away, the traffic congestion is very bad during peak hours. Same goes if you come from the city centre, you have to take a U-turn to Keramat exit and drive 1.1km to your house.

    The market price of Dataran Ukay has not escalated much for the past few years. It was tagged at around RM575,000 in 2008, RM600,000 in 2010 and about RM620,000 nowadays. The reason why the price would not go further is due to the age of the house. However, due to its close proximity to the city centre, the price will still continue to rise further.
