In year 2010, there was a gang of robbers known as â€˜Ninja’ robbery gang. This gang of robbers has carried out 6 robberies in 6 months and they were said to only strike in the Ampang area.
They wore black clothes and masks and only showed their eyes and hence, the name Ninja gang derived from there. They would tie their victims up and rob them off their valuables. A family of 5 in Taman Dagang was robbed and the Ninja gang stole RM7,000 from the family.
There are many Koreans occupy the units in Sri Ampang. It can be a good investment as there can be good rental yields as there are many foreigners staying there. With more new launches in the area which have already reached RM300 psf (e.g. D'Pines), there is great potential to appreciate further.
