Each units has a layout of 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, spread out over spaces from anywhere between 967 – 1,200 square feet.
Tiara Duta has the regular amenities that a condominium always has, like swimming pool, a playground for children, covered and uncovered parking bays – but it also offers extra amenities like a tennis court along with a squash court, a jogging track for those who routinely need to exercise, a barbecue area, a function room, a clubhouse and even gardens.
The location of Tiara Duta in Ampang makes it accessible through Jalan Ampang and the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2), which has links to other major highways around the area. Nearby are key commercial facilities like the Ampang Point shopping complex, KLCC, Giant hypermarket and others like banks and restaurants.

Any person staying around the Ampang area will definitely be used to the extreme good and bad points that come with the location. For one thing, because it is a popular residential area, getting around is not that big a problem for those who do not own their own mode of transportation. Public transportation services are in abundance around the area, especially in Tiara Duta, as there is an LRT station nearby along with other services like busses and taxis.
On the other hand, for the same reason, it is also one location that is very prone to traffic congestion. The upside to this is that there are a lot of facilities nearby that allow residents to acquire what they need without having to go through too much of the stress.
There are several complaints that have been going around about Tiara Duta specifically. The parking bays are a bane to some of the residents as there are only a limited number of bays that are covered. There are also no parking spaces for visitors.
Aside from that, there are also feedbacks about certain amenities in Tiara Duta that are not functioning, mainly the elevators. But with only 4-storey to each block, these bring more of a sense of nuisance rather that extreme inconvenience. The garden is well maintained, however playground is down to the ground.
Some complained that uglification has been done to Tiara Duta since the takeover by the residents' community. Such examples, replacing the entire lights by the friend of the TDRA Chariman, without asking the opinion of the residents, under the pretext to save energy. Also to mention the issue of the restaurant owner, also a friend of the TDRA chairman who is not paying any rental for the restaurant. Furthermore, Tiara Duta is now well protected by the RELA, which give a cheap atmosphere to the complex.
