Section 3


Section 3 is a mixed residential-commercial precinct at the heart of Shah Alam, Selangor. It is surrounded by other similar precincts namely Section 2, Section 4, Section 6 and Section 7. Section 3 comprises of commercial and residential developments like bungalow houses with land areas ranging from 4,000 sf to 10,000 sf. Bungalow houses typically have built-up areas of approximately 7,000 sf with a standard unit comprising of 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Besides McDonald's, KFC is just located across the road in Section 2. Alternatively, residents can also head to the SACC Mall which is only about a 6 minutes short drive away from Section 3 whereby one can enjoy amenities such as a variety of restaurants, pharmacies, cafes, banking facilities and more. For medical needs, there is Klinik Soraya located within Section 3. Apart from that, there is also the Darul Ehsan Medical Centre situated around a 7 minutes short drive for more serious illnesses. Schools that are within the vicinity of Section 3 are Sekolah Rendah Agama Seksyen 3 and other schools that are within walking distance are SK Raja Muda and SMK Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah. It is accessible via Jalan Jati, Persiaran Raja Muda and also major highways like Federal Highway. For residents who wish to commute via public transportations can go to the Shah Alam KTM Komuter Station which is approximately 2.9km away from.

    Shah Alam is one of the well-planned cities in Malaysia. Located strategically in between Petaling Jaya and Klang, residents of Shah Alam enjoy the best of both cities ranging from the vibrant townships in Petaling Jaya to a wide variety of seafood and other well known delicacies in Klang. Shah Alam is also a vibrant city with not only an abundance of residential and commercial developments, but also surrounded by a lot of lush greenery and recreational parks. With the development of the now very well known i-City, Shah Alam has also gained much popularity with the big events being held there such as MTV World Stage, 8TV Showdown and more. i-City has indeed brought much attention to Shah Alam. There were also efforts to raise awareness and promoting the community recreation areas with central Shah Alam covering Section 2 to Section 24. This aims to help promote Shah Alam's recreational areas not just in terms of sports but also at a wider scale that covers arts and crafts, cultural heritage and the sights and sounds of the Shah Alam city. The students who reside in the flat apartments might be troublesome to the next-door neighbors. First-off, they park their cars along the roadsides and also in-front of neighboring bungalows. Besides that, there were complaints that the students make noise at night. However, houses that are distanced away from the apartment are indeed enjoying serene and calm surrounding.
