Spring Ville is yet another property by troubled developer Talam Corporation, which has come under fire in recent years. Embroiled in heavy debt, the developer halted the project many times and up till early 2011 buyers were still waiting for MPAJ’s approval and as of March 2011 have been yet to get their keys.
The development of Spring Ville was supposed to be completed in 2005, but at that time it was only 35% completed much to the dismay of many home owners who have been paying off installments with no return for their investments yet to be seen. Buyers have been advised to check their units thoroughly for defects.
Some buyers of Spring Ville who were unable to wait for their units, were selling them off below market rate, some at RM120,000. In 2008, IJM Corporation was awarded a few large contracts to take over the Spring Ville development along with some of Talam’s other stalled projects.
The units of Spring Ville themselves are nothing to be very excited about; however there are many facilities provided with promising amenities yet to come like a 7-Eleven convenience store, mamak, restaurants and many more that are targeted to take up the new lettable shop-office units within the property. Each block will have its own set of facilities.
For home owners who have been patiently waiting for the completion of their units, they are happy to finally be able to move in or begin letting out their apartments to start bringing in a return to their investment made years ago.
Ukay Perdana is situated at the East end of Ampang, near the hills and surrounded by lots of greenery. Traveling to the city center will take about 20 minutes passing through a few townships. But with the accessibility of the DUKE highway, MRR2, Ampang â€“ KL Elevated highway, residents are linked up to various parts of the Klang Valley easily.
