For shopping and leisure, USJ 2 is surrounded by many shopping centers such as Empire Subang, Subang Parade, First Subang, Summit USJ, Carrefour, Giant and Mydin Hypermarket. It is only a mere 3 minutes drive to Taipan USJ, 5 minutes drive to Giant USJ, 10 minutes drive to Subang Parade and 15 minutes drive to Citta Mall.
USJ 2 is also a stone’s away from education institutions such as INTI College, Taylor’s College, Sunway College, The One Academy, Metropolitan College, Monash Universiry, Sri Kuala Lumpur, Sri Sedaya and Fairview International School. Furthermore, it is near to medical centres such as Sunway Medical Centre and Subang Jaya Medical Centre (SJMC). There are also restaurants, convenient stores and a mosque in USJ 2 vicinity.
USJ 2 is accessible through the Federal Highway, the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), North-South Expressway Central Link (ELITE), Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS), the Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP) and the New Pantai Expressway (NPE).
USJ 2 is an affluent residential neighbourhood where many amenities are of close proximity such as a walking distance to primary and secondary schools, playgrounds, public transports, shopping malls and commercial centres. It is only a mere 5 minutes drive to Summit USJ, 8 minutes drive to Holiday Villa, 20 minutes drive to KL via NPE, 35 minutes drive to Putrajaya / Cyberjaya and 40 minutes drive to KLIA.
In line with the government vision of healthy living and to promote sports, the Subang Jaya Municipal Council Complex has a football turf and athletic field in USJ 5. For healthcare, there are SJMC and Sunway Medical Centre nearby. Also, there is a smaller medical centre at USJ 9 namely QHC Medical Centre. There is no shortage of clinics around USJ to serve the residents. For movie buffs, there are a few cinemas nearby.
Due to the strategic location of USJ 2 at the criss-crossing network of highways, it has experienced accelerated growth and property appreciation over the years. Usually, the houses in USJ 2 are pretty old and not furnished. Renovation worth at least a whipping RM200,000 to make the houses look modern and new. Hence, calculation of the house prices should include the fees of the type of renovation you want.
