Seri Austin (also known as Taman Seri Austin) is a residential township sited in Johor Bahru. Ideally located within the fast growing Iskandar Malaysia, Seri Austin neighbors Bandar Dato' Onn, Taman Setia Indah and Taman Mount Austin.
Spanning 500 acres of freehold land, Taman Seri Austin consists of individual residential precincts. Each precinct is equipped with linear park and clustered within its own gated and guarded scheme. The entire township is expected to home a population of 30,000.

Seri Austin is approximately 30 minutes away to Johor Bahru city centre, which is to be reduced upon the completion of Easter Dispersal Link Expressway (EDL) with the link road through Bandar Dato’ Onn. In addition, it is connected via north-South Expressway, Dato’ Onn Interchange, Pasir Gudang Highway and Tebrau-Kota Tinggi Highway.
Seri Austin is a township development by the renowned UM Land, via the group's wholly owned subsidiary, Dynasty View. Dynasty View has been established since 2005 and awarded the QLASSIC Certificate by Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB) for Phase 2A1 Deanna I. Other prominent developments by UM Land are Seri Bukit Ceylon, Suasana Sentral Loft and Suasana Bangsar.
The township is also to be equipped with high-speed broadband (HSBB UniFi) in 2 years time. This is following the agreement made between the developer and Telekom Malaysia Bhd and the developer to provide HSBB UniFi services at 316 units of 2-storey terrace house under the phase 3 of Seri Austin.
Also, the township is the first township in Johor Bahru to implement the â€˜Effective Microorganism’ (EM) program, which is hosted together with the local authority, MBJB. The program stresses on environment friendly lifestyle and products. Among the programs is awareness campaign.
The air here is fresh as Seri Austin is located just besides a pocket of green lung. However, as the development of Iskandar Malaysia keeps on growing, the green lung will definitely be developed soon.
Even though the township imposes gated and guarded scheme, there were still break-ins reported. The latest cases were reported in April 2011. Hence, the residents have established a Rukun Tetangga and a Volunteer Patrolling Unit, to enhance the security of the area.
