SS19 is a residential and commercial enclave located in Subang Jaya. It is situated in the heart of the city neighboring SS17 and SS18. Being the largest enclave of Subang Jaya, SS19 comprises shoplots, link factories, Keranji Apartments, compact terraces, 2-storey terraces, Subang Soho, Subang Parkhomes, retail lots, semi-Ds and bungalows.
There are several types of 2-storey link house to choose from within the vicinity of SS19, each with its own design and features. Plus, there are two latest residential development in the vicinity by Titijaya, called Subang Parkhomes which consists of 7 blocks of low-rise villas and condominium towers within a gated and guarded enclave and Subang Soho which consists of serviced apartments.
Residing in the affluent Subang Jaya, there are vast array of amenities can be found surrounding the neighborhood. Just within the neighborhood, there are several fields, a park (a favorite place for jogging among Subang Jaya residents besides the usual Subang Ria Park Wetland), a basketball court, a mosque (Masjid Abu Bakar As-Sidiq), two schools (SRK SS19 and SRJK © Lick Hung) and Subang Jaya Gospel Centre. Besides that, there are also rows of shop within the precinct which consists of 99 Speedmart supermarket, 7-Eleven, pet shops, banks clinics and restaurants.
Driving out from SS19, there are more amenities within just minutes away. Several schools are nearby including SMK Subang Utama (located in SS18), SK USJ 2 and SMK Seafield. For leisure and shopping, are there are Subang Parade, Carrefour Subang, Empire Subang, Citta Mall, First Subang, etc.
In terms of accessibility, SS19 is served by Persiaran Tujuan which connected to Federal Highway and can also lead to Shah Alam Highway (KESAS) via Persiaran Kewajipan. Not only that, it is just mere minutes away from North-Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP) and New Pantai Expressway (NPE). Adding to that, residents are just minutes of driving from Subang Jaya KTMm Komuter station. In 2014, there will be an LRT station (Kelana Jaya Putra line) built right next to the Komuter station.
Among all the residential enclaves of Subang Jaya, SS19 is one of the most exclusive precincts. It is not congested with too many commercial activities within the enclave – making it quiet and serene. At the same time, it is nearby plenty of amenities and can be easily accessible from Persiaran Tujuan without having to struggle in bad traffic for too long.
In terms of capital appreciation, SS19 market prices have risen well for the past few years despite of economic recession. For example, the compact 2-storey houses were asked for around RM170,000 to RM200,000 in 2005; and currently were tagged from RM320,000 onwards in 2011. Most of the houses in SS19 were built almost 40 years ago so a massive renovation should be taken into consideration when purchasing a house in this neighborhood.
