Taman Alam Megah is a residential development located within the developing neighborhood of Shah Alam. There are many similar developments within close proximity, namely Taman Mutiara Subang, Taman Puteri Subang, and Taman Subang Murni.
The enclave of Taman Alam Megah comprises mainly of residential developments such as double-storey terrace / link houses, low-cost flats and apartments as well as several commercial shop-lots. The terrace houses comes with varying built-up sizes starting from 1,300 sf which usually comes with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Flats on the other hand are rather small at 500 sf with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
Taman Alam Megah is situated within close proximity to a wide array of shop-houses and industrial area. As such, amenities are easily available in abundance, as residents need only take a short drive towards the commercial zone which is host to a multitude of amenities. Mini markets, grocery stores, restaurants and banking facilities are easily accessible. Hero shopping mall and Giant hypermarket can be found nearby as well.
There are a healthy number of schools within the surrounding area of Taman Alam Megah. The nearest school is known as Sk Alam Megah 1, followed by SMK Alam Megah; both of which are less than 1km away. Similarly, SMK Alam Megah 2 and SK Alam Megah 2 are only about 0.7km away. Various other public facilities such as recreational parks and religious establishments are also within a stone’s throw away.
The main road leading to and fro Taman Alam Megah is known as Persiaran Kuala Langat which directly links to LDP highway. Apart from that, several other major highways serving the enclave effectively interconnect commuters with other neighborhoods, such as NKVE, Shah-Alam highway, and Federal highway. RapidKL Depot Shah Alam is located within a 5km radius.
As is obvious, properties within Taman Alam Megah are extremely affordable. The landed properties come with a freehold tenure and is priced at a meager RM200,000. It would be ideal for young families or up-and-coming business executives as the enclave has easy access to many established neighborhoods such as Subang Jaya and Kota Damansara.
That being said, Shah Alam is currently undergoing rapid development, possibly caused by population-overflow from Kota Damansara. Residents will, in time notice many new developments, be it residential or commercial, within the surrounding area. This would inevitably boost existing property prices potentially increasing capital appreciation.
