Bukit Gita Bayu (also known as Windsong Heights) is an exclusive guarded residential neighborhood within a lush forest as its backdrop. Located in Seri Kembangan, it has won the FIABCI Award for Best Residential Development 2003 and Selangor District for Best Landscaping (Hotel/Resort/Tourism Complex Category) 2003 by Ministry of Housing and Local Government.
Sited on a 118-acre land, Bukit Gita Bayu comprises a residential mix of bungalows and low-rise apartments together with a clubhouse. The residential mix consists of 253 bungalow lots; 100 low rise apartments (also known as Town Villas); 31 strata-titled houses (known as Garden Villas); 54 units of 2-storey and 3-storey detached bungalow and low-rise duplex (also known as Hill Villas); and 44 units of 3 to 4-storey condominium (known as The Peak).
In terms of its facilities, Bukit Gita Bayu offers a clubhouse, guardhouse and two recreational lakes. The pavilion-style clubhouse, namely Kebun Mimpi, is built in the centre of the development adjacent to a man-made lake and park. In terms of security, there are two main guard controls; at the main entrance and nearby Town Villas.
The entire development of Bukit Gita Bayu is fenced with a 9 feet high brick-faced wall, high tensile grille and is also clad with razor mesh on top. The whole development is landscaped with lush greenery to provide a tropical resort living experience. On top of that, there are 50 units of shop office (Shop Village) which are currently under development in the compound.
The area is surrounded by commercial centres and residential neighbourhoods. There are numerous rows of shop lots nearby. Bukit Gita Bayu is mere minutes away from Mines Shopping Centre and Mines Wonderland. There are two international schools nearby, namely Alice Smith and Australian School.
This green residency can be easily accessed via the Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Highway and Sungai Besi Highway. Additionally, the Serdang KTM Komuter station is just mere minutes away from the residential.
As all units at Bukit Gita Bayu are strata titled, home owners (and even bungalow owners) do not own private gardens. Hence, they are all identical and do not possess a unique identity.
Most residents of Bukit Gita Bayu are happy staying in this green neighbourhood because of its tranquility and natural environment. So far, there have not been not many eco-friendly developments in the country, just Setia Eco Park and Kampung Warisan to name a few.
Investment wise, Bukit Gita Bayu is a good investment for capital appreciation strategy. While waiting for the price to escalate, one can make decent rental return from expatriates as there are quite a growing number of expatriates, mostly Australians, who like to reside here.
