Previously there were issues with the developer of Taman Puchong Intan not being able to provide the residents with the individual land titles even after 10 years. Residents were not happy with this issue and were also puzzled as to why the government could have let the developer get away with this after the company was sued for bankruptcy twice.

There was a gathering by the residents of Taman Puchong Intan last year and they have also called upon Puchong Member of Parliament (MP) Gobind Singh Deo to help them with their land title issues.

Besides the land title problems, there were also complaints about the cleanliness of the surroundings of Taman Puchong Intan. It has become a dumping ground filled with rubbish and the multipurpose hall was also filled with rubbish here and there and this has caused the dengue fever cases to be on the high.

Besides that, there are also a lot of undeveloped areas and these areas have also became a dumping ground for robbers to throw away stolen motorcycles and also a hiding place for drug addicts. The apartment units are mostly resided by immigrants and foreign workers. According to the residents, they have turned the apartment into a dirty place as each unit is lived with tens of people.
