    The development of Millennium Square was delayed due to numerous complaints lodged by Section 14 residents. Most of them are related to traffic issue, which they claimed that the development has not only worsened traffic congestion, it also caused accident. As a solution, Jalan 223 was open to two-way traffic and a new access road was planned to link Jalan 14/15 to Menara Axis and Asia Jaya LRT station.

    In addition, Millennium Square is built near to monsoon drain and Tenaga Nasional Berhad's sub-station and wire cables. Hence, it can pull the magnetic flow if there is a lighting strike to hit Millennium Square. Also, residents are exposed to flash flood.
