One of the main appeals of Casa Suites is being strategically located adjacent to Sprint Highway. Not only that, one can easily access to NKVE, LDP and Penchala Link highways which all located within few hundred meters away from the apartment. The location itself is well-centred in between Damansara Utama, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, SS2 and Section 17.
One can also find plenty of household necessities, fancy restaurants and branded apparel stores house in Tropicana City Mall including Carrefour, Esprit, and Starbucks to name a few, just within short walking distance from Casa Suites.
Moreover, SS2 is also famous for plenty of eateries offering local delicacies and even western cuisine. Not only that, one can find loads of amenities within Damansara Intan Business park itself which houses Big Fish Restaurant & Lounge, 7 Eleven and San Francisco Steak House. Adding to that, there are Crystal Karaoke Centre and Delta Club housed in the business park.
Dijaya Corporation is a well-known for its "Tropicana" developments. Amongst its projects include renowned Casa Tropicana, Tropicana Indah Resort Homes (Tropicana Indah), Tropicana Golf & Country Resort, and Tropicana City.
Casa Suites, Petaling Jaya Average For Sale Price
Casa Suites is tagged as a service apartment, as it sits on freehold commercial land. Being a serviced apartment, resident has to pay double for electricity, quit rent, and assessment fee than condominium. Besides that, if there is any problem, one cannot make complaints via HDA as it is not governed by HDA.
There are few other competitors located nearby. Casa Suites is located besides Ken Damansara II, while Casa Damansara 2 and Ken Damansara I are located on its opposite. Also, just across Sprint highway is Desa Kiara, which is better located within TTDI neighborhood.
There are not much views can be enjoyed from the units, as most views are blocked by Casa Damansara 2, office block as well as the newly-built Tropicana City Mall. Therefore, one cannot enjoy much living experience as life would be like living in concrete jungle.
Just few meters away from Casa Suites is a mixed development comprising of Tropicana City Mall, 2 blocks of designer suites and an office tower. Adding it with Damansara Intan office suite, one can find that the small enclave of Damansara Intan is packed with commercial activities as well as residential. At the front of the building is a TNB sub-station.
Even though Casa Suites is great in terms of accessibility, you will find it a problem as you have to make a U-turn at Section 17 if you are from Damansara Uptown, and even if you want to head to the city centre via Sprint Highway, you also need to make a U-turn at LDP at SS2 exit. Not to mention that you have to struggle along bad traffic congestion along the way during peak hours. The busy roads surrounding it also result in noise all-day round.
Most people claim the price of Casa Suites is very pricey comparing to all condominiums within SS2 enclave. No doubt about that as Casa Suites is actually a serviced apartment, while the rest in the area are mostly condominiums. Thus, bear in mind that the surplus is due to its exclusivity features that include housekeeping, laundromat and concierge service. These added features are not necessary, but for ones that prefer to reside in a place with full comfort and hotel-like, that is premium one has to pay. And not many people are willing to top up for such comfort featured.
Amenities provided here are not at all impressive, and most comical is the 'basement' swimming pool which appears to sit at the parking lots.
Investment wise, Casa Suites is not the best studio suite one can find. There are plenty better studio options available out there. Some are greatly located near to LRT station, and within similar price range, such as Amcorp Mall. Thus, it is not surprising to see Dijaya still have vacant units for sale after completion, and even after they launched the Tropicana City Tropics.
