There are two high-rise condominiums currently under construction nearby Vista Damai. One of them is myHabitat which located next to it. The development comprises of a shopping mall The Intermark, two international Grade A offices ( Vista Tower) and Double Tree Hotel (owned by Hilton Hotel). The development is scheduled to be completed in stages by 2010 to 2012. Another under-construction development is Acadia Residency, which developed by IMC Parkville that comprises of two 48-storey condominiums. Once these developments are completed, Vista Damai will be surrounded by high-end condominiums.
The Vista Damai Management has just repainted the whole building, upgraded the facilities like mutli-purpose hall, children’s playground and putting new equipment into the gym. Investment wise, both price appreciation and rental rate of Vista Damai are not interesting. The selling price and rental are pretty stagnant at RM500 psf and RM2.70 psf respectively. If you are considering investing in a unit here, it is recommended to put your money in studio unit. There are not many studio units in the area which strategically located near to LRT station and plenty of amenities.
