The Horizon Residences is a brand new serviced apartment development located along Jalan Tun Razak, right next to RHB Bank HQ. Its neighbours include The Forum and Villa Inai. It is a project by Hap Seng Land which was launched back then in 2012. The residence offers 6 types of layout to choose from, ranging from studio unit to penthouse. The smallest unit has a built-up of 549 sf while the biggest penthouse unit has a built-up size of 3,552 sf.
There are also plenty of facilities provided for the residents at The Horizon Residences such as a 50M pool, barbeque area, playground, artificial turf, stepping stones, feature trees, floating gymnasium, steam room, sauna, nursery and a multi-purpose hall. There are two choices of views to choose from which are KLCC view or Royal Selangor Golf Course.
Pasar Rakyat bus stop is just half km away while the nearest monorail station is 1.2 km from the residence. A number of schools are also within 1 km radium from the residence such as SMK Aminuddin Baku and SRK Taman Maluri, which would be convenient for the residents. Besides that, it is just a mere minutes’ walk to Pavilion KL, Lot 10 and Sg Wang Plaza.
The developer of the property is Hap Seng Land. It has more than 36 years of expertise in property development and holding of investment properties, covering township development, residential, commercial and industrial properties. Among other projects by the same developer include Tropika D’Alpinia, Taman Palm Heights, Bandar Sri Indah and Taman Astana.
The most prominent selling point of The Horizon Residences is the prime location, which explains its hefty price tag, RM 1,300 psf. It has easy access and well-connected to major highways surrounded by prominent office buildings, embassies, medical centre, international schools and nearby retail malls such as Pavilion KL and Suria KLCC.
Having Prince Court Medical Center just less than half km away, the ambulance siren coming back and forth from the hospital may not please the residents. The residents must also expect some congestion when leaving and coming back home as Jalan Tun Razak is always jammed especially during peak time. There were also complaints about The Horizon Residences being overpriced compared to other properties in the same area, which investors may consider on.
