Royce Residence is a new and upcoming high-rise serviced apartment to be developed along Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, just a stone’s throw away from the Petronas Twin Towers in KLCC. It is located adjacent to The Mayang, Taragon Puteri YKS, Jelita Court and Menara AmBank.
Royce Residence is a development by HR United Group and Yuk Tung Group in which Yuk Tung Group is the owner of the land. The serviced apartment sits on 7.82 acres of freehold land and consists of two buildings of 42-storey blocks that contain a total of 440 apartment units. The building façade features a full glass concept and among the key features is its unique rooftop garden that is designed in multiple storeys.
In terms of amenities, residents will be spoiled for choice as there are a wide array of amenities can be reached within mere minutes of walking. As for shopping malls, there are Suria KLCC, Avenue K and Pavilion KL which are within walking distance. Also, it is also mere minutes walking to the famous Jalan P. Ramlee entertainment hub.
Royce Residence can be reached via Jalan Ampang and Jalan Tun Razak that connect to Jalan Yap Kwan Seng. It is also within mere minutes driving to Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH), KL-Putrajaya (MEX) Highway and Mahameru Highway. You might also opt to take the LRT as the KLCC RapidKL LRT Station is reachable in 10 minutes on foot.
The news on the development has been sprawled across major newspapers and online media for some years now. However, there is no official launch announced by the developer themselves. According to Tan from Yuk Tung Group, they have wanted to launch the development for about a year now (from 2011) and have not finalized whether to keep the project or sell it.
There is a potential that they might keep the serviced apartment for recurring income and they are in talks with serviced apartment operators and yet to decide on this. Not only that, he also added that there is also a possibility that it might be converted into hotel as well – in which they are talking to investors about the idea even though they claimed that they are not interested to sell the project.
