Idaman Residence is a luxury high-end condominium situated right opposite to the Petronas Twin Towers in KLCC. The exclusive resort condominium is located right in the center of the KL’s Golden Triangle, where one could indulge in shopping, dining and recreational activities that catered especially for those city folks.
Towering 34-storey high over the city center, Idaman Residence was built on 1.45 acres of premier freehold land with optimum layout designed to enhance individual private spaces. There are 9 units of apartments on each floor with sizes ranging from 877sf up to 2174sf where ceiling is 10 feet in height and living room, dining and master bath laid with first-class imported marble.
For that superbly sleek and modern-futuristic look, the building exterior is 90% glass, with view overlooking KLCC and KL cityscape one can personally enjoy from within their home. Even by entering the condominium lobby, one would find incredibly impressive with a 30-feet high ceiling – a moment suitably known as the “grand entrance”.
The price of Idaman Residence was around RM620 psf prior to the completion, about 2-3 years ago. It gradually went up by RM100 to RM720 psf, in which it is considered a reasonable deal, comparing to the rest of the condominiums in the KLCC vicinity that cost up to RM1,000 psf. As the prices range according to the layout sizes, one could only choose KLCC or no KLCC view. Units with Layout A, which is the biggest of all at 2,174 sf, are the only units that give the residents a full view of KLCC and carried a price tag of RM1.5 million or more. That is if you are a big fan of KLCC. The rest of the units are either with partial view of Petronas Twin Towers or not at all.
However, units with Layout H seems to be the favorite among buyers who does not need a bungalow space. The smallest among the rest, Layout H has only humble space of 877 sf. Then again, RM680,000, a little more or less for a full skyline view when you enter the front door is by no means high priced. In fact, these beautifully designed studio-like units are indeed very affordable, especially when they are situated in the posh KLCC area. Not having to specify into one particular layout, investors and buyers get to choose from 25 different designs; the only difference for the same type, e.g. Type I1, I2, I3, is the sizes of the balcony but not the interior layout. This is sufficiently convenient for one to select which design suits best with no lack of choices.
To please smart buyers, the developer threw in freebies such as built-in kitchen cabinets and basic appliances, making Idaman Residence so far without any harsh complaints. In fact, 60% units has been sold to date. All in all, Idaman Residence seems to be a place well worth to invest in, especially in this economic condition and since substantial percentage of this market is made up of foreign investors. Wait for a few more years and watch the value shoots up, because there is no way one could un-posh KLCC area.
