Taman Wangsa Permai is a residential area consisting of terrace houses built on leasehold land. It is located near to Taman Bukit Maluri. Other adjacent landmarks include Vista Saujana and Ixora Apartment.
These houses vary from 2- to 3-storey high. The terrace houses have 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The land area per housing unit also ranges between 1,496 sf to 2,537 sf. As the houses vary in terms of number of floors, the built-up area of the house is also significantly vary from 2,100 sf to 6,423 sf. Taman Wangsa Permai also comes with 24-hours security patrol, making living here peaceful and safe.
This residential area is also conveniently close to amenities, where popular food-joints such as McDonald’s, Station One, Old Town White Coffee, KFC and Pizza Hut are all less than 10 minutes drive away. Jusco and Carrefour Kepong as well as the Metro Prima Shopping Center can also be reached by car in less than 10 minutes from Taman Wangsa Permai. For nature lovers and avid outdoor enthusiasts, the Forest Reserve Institute Malaysia and Taman Tasik Menjalara are also less than 16 minutes drive away from the housing area.
Taman Wangsa Permai is also very easy to access via the popular highways (NKVE, LDP and SPRINT). The North-South highway and Selayang-Kepong highway are less than 10 minutes drive from the houses. It also takes less than 15 minutes to drive to KL city, Damansara Heights, 1Utama, IKEA and IKANO. Otherwise, consider taking the Kepong Sentral KTM which is 5-minutes away by car.
Taman Wangsa Permai Kepong was Monteron Development’s maiden project. The developer is now working on another residential housing project called “Northgate Avenue” at Pengkalan Hulu. The ironic thing about Taman Wangsa Permai is that it is accessibility to so many amenities and main roads are also the biggest bane to those living in this area. Currently, there are over 40,000 people residing around the enclave and yet there is only one main road (Persiaran KIP 2) leading out of the residential area.
Besides that, rampant illegal parking and a poor traffic dispersal system is also what’s causing the time-wasting jam. If you happen to work from home or don’t mind waking up at 4 in the morning to escape the infamous one and a half hour traffic jam that occurs every morning, then this might be a good place for you to live in.
