Taman Bukit Maluri is a matured estate within the developed township of Kepong. Located just off Lebuhraya Selayang-Kepong, this suburb is surrounded by neighboring communities like Bandar Menjalara and Kepong Baru, all interconnected.
Taman Bukit Maluri consists of a mixed development, from residential to commercial and industrial properties. There has been a lot of development in recent years, including the upgrading and addition of major highways connecting in and out of Kepong.

Taman Bukit Maluri is home to many families as there are primary and secondary schools within walking distance to terrace houses. The Kepong Komuter Station is also within walking distance of the schools. The nearest malls are the Carrefour hypermarket and Brem Mall.
Within the Kepong township itself, there are also plenty of recreational places that are frequented by the residents like Taman Rekreasi Bandar Menjalara just 5 minutes away, the 90-hectares Kepong Metropolitan Park and FRIM slightly further away. Taman Bukit Maluri is a slightly smaller community compared to nearby Bandar Menjalara. It consists of terrace houses, shop-offices and factory lots. The community is a matured neighborhood and has many amenities to serve the residents living there. Popular restaurants like Defoodland Seafood Restaurant and Kanna Curry House are located nearby Taman Bukit Maluri, bringing visitors from outside the area. A morning market is located near the shop-offices as well and on Sundays, a weekly night market.
Rental for housing units in Taman Bukit Maluri are few, as mostly are owner occupied. But many of the homes have been renovated and boast a generous size of built-up and some with a lot of land, over 5,000sf which is going for RM600,000 – RM900,000 currently. Rooms in Taman Bukit Maluri are rented out at an average of RM300 per month. The factory lots are rented out at an average of RM1.10 psf and is able to bring in RM12,000 monthly for a 11,000 sf unit.
Property value within the area have increased substantially over the years partly also due to surrounding new townships, like Desa ParkCity and Mutiara Damansara. Kepong covers over 3,800 acres of land, thus the demand for housing has spilled over to neighboring estates.
