SS5 is a mixed development comprising of terrace houses and shop-offices. Located within the matured neighborhood of Kelana Jaya, similar development within close proximity to the enclave includes SS4.
Generally, SS5 consists of single-storey and double-storey terrace houses. Apart from that, within walking distance away from the residential area is the commercial area comprising of double-storey shop-offices. Typically, houses within the enclave comes with 2 – 4 bedrooms and 2 – 3 bathrooms; with built-up sizes ranging from approximately 1,200 sf onwards. The shop-offices on the other hand have an average built-up size of 3,500 sf.
The enclave is situated within close proximity to a wide range of amenities. There are many restaurants, shops, banking facilities and grocery shops within the commercial area. Apart from that, residents of SS5 can take a short drive along LDP towards other established neighborhood such as SS2, Taman Megah and Sea Park – all of which is no more than 10-minutes drive away.
In terms of education, residents of SS5 will benefit from easy access to multiple schools. The closest school would be SRK Sri Kelana, followed by Kelana Jaya Community College, SMK Sri Permata and SK Kelana Jaya – all of which are no more than 1km away. For higher educational institutions, KBU College, KDU College, Help University College and Segi College can all be accessed no more than 15-minutes drive away.
SS5 is served by multiple major highways linking the enclave to many other matured and established neighborhood. Of the greatest benefit to residents would be LDP which is 2-minutes away from the enclave. Other than that, there is Plus highway, Sprint highway, NKVE and Federal highway. Kelana Jaya LRT Station is located no more than 5-minutes away, where taxis and bus can be hailed as well.
Located within the matured neighborhood of Kelana Jaya, it comes at no surprise that there are an abundance of amenities easily available to residents of SS5. Even within the enclave itself, most daily necessities as well as popular restaurants are easily accessible; not to mention the fact that many other established neighborhood are within short driving distances from the enclave.
Apart from that, convenience is the underlying factor contributing to the value of properties within SS5. This is largely due to the fact that residents can literally travel easily without relying on private transportation. A short-walk towards the LRT station, and one would be able to head to KL City Center within 30-minutes.
The only issue residents of SS5 might face is the constant traffic congestion, which does not seem to have much room for improvement. The traffic is especially bad along LDP. However, it is a relief to consider that most amenities, schools and banking facilities can all be accessed without having to travel along LDP.
