You are right, NZX prices are still just 30% above 2007 prices. Current Oasis prices are already 100% above 2007 prices for Block A&B. Oasis was also very quiet for a long time until it started to pick up 12 months ago. NZX prices should start to climb once some of the more desperate owners have sold their units. But, actually, there are no desperate owners. Most have kept their properties for a long time. I think they know the potential and have serious holding power. Hint....many have enough clout to even challenge the 'developer' who took over and put up the stalls inside. 2014 will see prices shoot up.

Interesting, thank you. Property prices do take some time to catch up. NZX 2013 prices 130% above 2012 but still cheap as prices had been unchanged bet 2007-2012. My guess, once LRT starts, easily another 50% because prices are still coming off a very low base. Where else can you buy a 5 storey office bldg with lift for less than RM3m?
