Mutiara Place (also known as Puncak Mutiara) is a condominium that consists of two 19-storey medium cost apartment blocks. It is located along Lorong Delima 13 off Yeap Chor Ee Road in Island Glades. It is sited next to a green hill which offers cool and refreshing air to the surrounding. Some units have a panoramic view of Penang Bridge and the wonderful blue sea.
It only takes five minutes to drive from Mutiara Place to Penang Bridge, whereas a ride to Bayan Lepas Penang International Airport and Georgetown City Centre only takes about 30 minutes. Several remarkable landmarks such as Kompleks Belia dan Sukan Pulau Pinang, Stadium Bandaraya Pulau Pinang, and Penang Hill are only a few kilometers away.
Mutiara Place is located close to several primary schools and secondary schools, including Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Bukit Gelugor and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bukit Gambir. Other amenities such as the Batu Lanchang Market, Tesco, Queensbay Mall, E-gate, eateries, Lam Wah Ee Hospital, and so on are all within reasonable distance.
Mutiara Place is approximately 8 km from Magazine Circus, and therefore is a suitable location to live in no matter you are working in the city or the south side, as it is strategically situated somewhere half way between the two. In terms of public transport for Mutiara Place’s residents, Rapid Penang Bus No. 206 is available. However, it takes a while to walk from Mutiara Place to the nearest bus stop along Jalan Yeap Chor Ee.
It takes several minutes to ride to Paya Terubong Rapid Penang Bus Hub and Air Itam Rapid Penang Bus Hub. Therefore, it is not very convenient if you depend on public transport. The traffic along Jalan Bukit Gambir is usually heavy but not congested. However, it does get a little congested at the traffic lights of Jalan Delima, which is a rather busy road.
