Anggun Puri (also known as Anggunpuri) is a freehold condominium located in Dutamas, Kuala Lumpur. It was developed by BT Homestead. It stands in the medium-class residential suburb of Segambut that borders Mont Kiara and Jalan Duta. It is one of the latest condominiums built in Dutamas, along with Changkat View. Other condominiums located along the same road are Menara Duta 1, and Menara Duta 2.
Anggun Puri is a 22-storey block which comprises of 246 units. There are a total of six types of three-bedrooms and two-bath units with built-up ranging from 800 to 1,900 sf. It was launched from RM143,800 to RM531,557 in mid-2006.
As for amenities and facilities in the area, there is Lyce’e Francais de KL, a French international school located right next to the condominium. Other amenities can only be found down the road. Sekolah Kebangsaan Segambut Makmur is just within walking distance. Besides that, other schools located nearby are Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Kiaramas and Sekolah Kebangsaan Hartamas. Besides school, it is also nearby Solaris Dutamas and Hartamas Shopping Centre.
In terms of accessibility to Anggun Puri, there are several options available to access into the area including a number of prime highways. You can utilize North-Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), Penchala Link, Penchala Link, DUKE Highway, Jalan Duta and Jalan Kuching to get into the area.
Also, Anggun Puri is also nearby Jalan Duta’s access to PLUS North-South Highway that connects you to the northern regions. Plus, it neighbors with a number of prime neighborhoods, namely Sri Hartamas, Mont Kiara and Bukit Segambut.
Anggun Puri is another development by BT Homestead Group, after Angkupuri, Almaspuri, Aman Beringin, Taman Indah and Taman Indah Murni. BT Homestead started back then in the 80’s by building terrace and link houses. The company continue focusing in residential developments, which mostly are high rise condominiums and apartments.
There was a rumor which the initial contractor of absconded and work had been stopped for a couple of months. The development was then continued by other contractor. This shows that this project has problem right during its construction. Anggun Puri was supposed to be handed over to buyers on October 2007, but it was handed over in the middle of 2008.
Initial sales of Anggun Puri done by the developer was not well, which was then passed to KIM Realty for the property marketing. There were still a number of unsold units available in October 2008 after the development was completed.
Anggun Puri is located at the best location along Jalan Dutamas Raya, since it is far away from highway, unlike Changkat View which is situated near to a highway and will suffer lots from noise pollution.
The price of Anggun Puri has gradually increased over these years, and with the completion of Solaris Dutamas, and also the launch of the new high-end condo by BRDR just in front of Anggun Puri. It is foreseen that the price of Anggun Puri will keep increasing from the now average RM380 psf to RM450 psf in future. By the massive development within Dutamas, this condo has great potential to appreciate in near future.
