Taman Putri Jaya is a residential development located within the thriving and matured neighborhood of Cheras. It is within close proximity to many other similar residential neighborhoods such as Cheras Perdana, Taman Bukit Cheras, and Taman Segar.
The enclave comprises of freehold landed residential developments which is predominantly made up of 3-storey terrace / link houses. Some have claimed that the houses look much like cartoon houses of Cheras.
