There is potential for Taman Pertama to develop further if they are following several modern development planned in the area. At the moment, the area has seen several modern high-rise residential with market price for these residences has already reached RM400 psf. Adding to that, there is a huge plan of redeveloping the DBKL flats opposite Taman Pertama into a modern township. The proposed plan has already been approved by the city hall, and will be handled by the renowned SP Setia.
The development is estimated to cost RM2.8 billion, and will be completed in 15 years time. Hence, Taman Pertama will definitely gain benefit from the redevelopment. However, it also means that the area will be dusty and noisy for several development years. Roads leading to and fro Taman Pertama are really congested during peak office hours and peak after office hours. You might be spending close to 40 minutes driving from the city center to your homes on your way back home from work.
