Taman Bukit Mewah is a matured residential neighborhood nestled in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. Mind you that there are 2 more other Taman Mewah within Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, located in UKay and Kajang.
Taman Bukit Mewah is located opposite Taman Midah and Taman Cheras. Besides that, it also neighbours Taman Sri Bahtera and Taman Billion. The residential enclave houses 5-storey flats, 2-storey terraces and bungalows. The 5-storey flat consists of low-cost apartments with built-up size of 600 sf.
Nestled at the centre of Cheras, Taman Bukit Mewah is surrounded by aplenty amenities and facilities. Right across Jalan Cheras, there is Tesco Extra Cheras located in Taman Midah. Besides that, there is also a wet market located in Taman Midah. In addition, there are few rows of commercial blocks located across Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) that houses several restaurants, hotel, workshops, beauty centres et cetera. Driving further south along Jalan Cheras, there is Leisure Mall, located about 5 minutes driving away.

Taman Bukit Mewah can be easily accessible from Jalan Cheras, Jalan Kuari and Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2). Also, the neighbourhood is served by East-West Highway and KL-Seremban Highway. The nearest LRT station is Miharja RapidKL LRT (Ampang line) which is just 3.4 kilometres away from the enclave via Jalan Cheras. It is about 9 kilometres away from KLCC, 11 kilometres away from Mid Valley City and 23 kilometres from Subang Jaya.
Despite of enjoying several amenities within minutes away, Taman Bukit Mewah enclave is also near to cemeteries. These include Cheras Christian Cemetery, Cheras Hindu Cemetery and Cheras Muslim Cemetery. These cemeteries are located at the north of Taman Bukit Mewah.
Congestion is also another issue to look at, as the connecting roads to Taman Bukit Mewah are congested at most times as it is located near Jalan Cheras-MRR2 roundabout. Traffic jam is a common scene around here during peak hours.
All the houses within Taman Bukit Mewah are very old and there quite a number of owners have renovated their homes to make their houses more liveable. However, avoid those houses facing the road and highway or you might bear intolerable noise pollution.
