However, there are few schools located within 5 to 10 km radius from Taman Bukit Cheras, which includes Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan © Taman Connaught, Sekolah Kebangsaan Seri Anggerik, Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Cuepacs and Sekolah Kebangsaan Alam Damai. As for tertiary education, University College of Sedaya International is located within 5 minutes driving distance.

Given the strategic location of Taman Bukit Cheras, it is so convenient to access to the major towns via East-West Link Highway, Cheras-Kajang Highway, MRR2 and Kesas Highway. Besides that, it is only 10 minutes drive to reach the nearest Bandar Tasik Selatan LRT, which one can find Star LRT line, ERL to KLIA airport and KTM train.

The newly developed Cheras Heights by Sycal Ventures tends to add a sense of luxury to Taman Bukit Cheras.

Taman Bukit Cheras is a quite an ideal place for own stay, as the residential development is supported by a variety of commercial shops and facilities. As there is quite a lot of developments booming at the Southern Cheras, the number of shopping centres and retail shop lots are also increasing.

Unlike other housing developments at Semenyih and Balakong, which are located to the further South of Cheras, Taman Bukit Cheras is closely situated to Taman Connaught and enjoy the easy access to town area.
