The Ara (also known as Bangsar Couture Homes) is a unique gated and guarded residential that comprises of 30 exclusive couture homes located next to The Loft. It is designed in a unique Balinese architecture, and is also named as Bangsar Couture Homes.
This freehold residential is designed with a trendy and tropical look facade and detailed landscaping. The Ara provides 3 parking bays for each intermediate unit, and 4 parking bays for all corner and end units. It offers panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur city centre and PJ, which include KLCC and Telekom’s Rebung Tower.
The Ara is located in the bustling Bangsar neighborhood, near to The Loft and Contessa as its immediate neighbours. From the condominium, one can find plenty amenities around Bangsar Baru and Telawi enclave, as well as in several prime shopping malls including Bangsar Village 1 and 2, Bangsar Shopping Centre, The Gardens and Mid Valley Megamall, which only require short driving distance.
Getting to places is one of the advantages residing in Bangsar, as the township is well positioned next to the city center and connects the city with Petaling Jaya. You can access to the city center via Jalan Maarof and Jalan Bangsar. Alternatively, you can also utilize SPRINT highway and Mahameru highway to head to the city. Besides that, you can reach Petaling Jaya via SPRINT highway and access Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP) to reach Puchong and Kepong.
Mammoth Empire Development is the developer for both The Ara and The Loft. It is a small time developer, who has been active in Seremban but this is their first foray into high end. It is currently engaged with Empire Subang, a bigger scale mixed-commercial development.
The Ara features a unique linked bungalow concept, where each unit comes with a private lift, garden and swimming pool. The developer put in very good quality finishes, and designer kitchen with appliances. Furthermore, there is a Jacuzzi in master bedroom.
Residing in Bangsar, one has to bear with the traffic congestion issue. The traffic jam is almost every corner within Bangsar vicinity from main road of Jalan Bangsar and Jalan Maarof, to internal roads including Jalan Ara, Jalan Cenderai and Jalan Bukit Pantai which are massively crowded with vehicles during peak hours.
The Ara in Bangsar would probably top all other designer homes available in the whole Klang Valley. There are only few couture homes concept being built in the country, thus there are only few competitors for The Ara.
In terms of investment, even though The Ara is very pricey, it is still a good investment. The price appreciated very well over the years, but not as well as its brother The Loft, which sees at least 70% to 80% appreciation from initial launch price. But, you can expect relatively good and steady appreciation, as couture homes are rare in Malaysia, let alone Bangsar.
