One of the drawbacks of Sri Kasturina is the kitchen having a large window that faces the common area, thus allowing passerby to look inside the unit through the window. This however is mitigated through the use of blinds that effectively block out any prying eyes.
One of the prime selection factors for prospects is the low density factor (56 units to be exact) compared to other high density condominiums (>100 units) in the area.
Sri Kasturina has recently undergone an extensive upgrading initiative in 2009 that saw major improvements to common areas and landscaping, improvement in maintenance work and upgraded security. These have attracted a significant uptake of rented units by Western expatriates and new owners who in turn have begun renovating their respective units.
Sale and rental prices have appreciated to reflect these improvements, increasing from RM330 psf in 2007 to approximately RM480 psf in late 2009.
