Taman Lestari Putra is a leasehold residential and commercial development nestle at Bandar Putra Permai, Seri Kembangan. This residential estate is developed by Lestari Puchong Sdn Bhd under Talam Corporation. It was initially scheduled to be completed by 2006, but due to the project being abandoned by the developer the completion date was delayed until 2010.
Taman Lestari Putra comprises residential and commercial developments. There are two type of residential, which are Amaryllis and Artemisia. Both are double storey terrace house development, where Artemisia has 152 units and Amaryllis has 275 units. The lot size of Artemisia is 20×70 and meanwhile Amaryllis is 18x 65. Aside from the residential development, there is commercial development of 36 units of shops as well.
Taman Lestari Putra has the facilities and amenities located nearby, thanks to the recent nearby developments such as Equine Park, Bandar Kinrara and Puchong. In terms of daily needs, there is a Jaya Jusco Equine Park. Asides from shopping centre, there are some commercial shops located at Taman Putra Permai, which include restaurant, car workshops, utilities shops and clinics.
In terms of accessibility, Taman Lestari Putra is well served by networks of highways, which include LDP Highway, Bukit Jalil-Puchong Expressway and Lembah Klang Selatan Highway. Its strategic location provides convenient access to any point of the country.
The developer Lestari Puchong Sdn Bhd is one of the subsidiaries of Talam Corporation, which in turn is the sole developer in Saujana Puchong and Taman Puncak Jalil. The developer was nearly delisted from Bursa KLSE in 2005 and is currently a PN17 in Bursa Main Board. The developer is well known for abandoning their projects, as well as poor quality of property.
Frankly, if Talam developed this piece of land well and didn’t abandon it, the property price at this area would escalated high. Luckily the task force team formed by the Selangor state government interfered in the project when it was abandoned in 2005. Some of the issues were resolved by the task force team and the situation there turns better.
Though the reputation of the developer is bad and the quality of houses they produce is poor, the price of the property is the only attraction. Most of the double storey houses here are selling at around RM200k, which is something that one can’t get anywhere else in Klang Valley area. While hoping the condition here to get better, Taman Lestari Putra may be a good place to invest if you feel that it will be a better place to stay sooner or later.
