Plaza Medan Putra residential comprises of four 22-storey towers. The development was done in two phases, namely Avelon Tower and Beverly Tower, and each consists of two blocks. Besides that, there is also a retail complex below the tower that houses retail lots and office suites.
There are few types of serviced apartments available at Plaza Medan Putra, ranging from 458 sf to 1,000 sf including studio, SOHO and bungalow. There are a total of almost 500 serviced apartments built with 11 units per floor. Most types are 2+1 bedrooms, except those units with built-up sizes above 900 sf which come with 3+1 bedrooms. Each unit comes with a parking, and buyers were offered additional car park.
In terms of amenities, Plaza Medan Putra is located right besides Medan Putra Business Centre which contains rows of restaurants, groceries, convenience stores, beauty centres et cetera. Besides that, Plaza Medan Putra is just about 1.5 km from Menjalara central business district that consists of several rows of shop lots, Wisma Menjalara, Wisma FIAMMA and Tesco.
Just across Plaza Medan Putra, there is Desa ParkCity which offers Waterfront shopping centre and Central Park. There is also SMK Menjalara located nearby and there will be a proposed school to be built in Desa ParkCity.
Accessibility-wise, Plaza Medan Putra is reachable from Jalan Burung Hantu which connected to Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP). Besides that, it is also connected to Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) via Jalan Taman Bukit Maluri.
Sri Melinger is also the same developer for Medan Putra Business Centre and Medan Putra Condominium. The finishing of these developments is sluggish and very messy. There are too many defects found and they looked very old even though they are just about 10 years old. Most purchasers claimed that they are very disappointed with their purchases with Sri Melinger.
There are too many disappointments heard from buyers about this project. The buyers’ nightmare has even started during the S&P signing stage. They claimed that their units are different from the show unit as well as in the brochure – which the developer used low quality floor tiles, wall tiles and main entrance door.
In 2013, the units in Block A1 (807 sf – 1001 sf) are offered at lower prices ranging from RM250,000 to RM380,000, whilst units in Block A2,B1 & B2 (807 sf – 1100 sf) are offered at prices ranging from RM300,000-RM400,000.
