Menara Impian, Ampang
Menara Impian is a leasehold and old condominium nestled in Taman TAR, Ampang. It is surrounded by lush greenery and neighbours Taman TAR's 3-storey terraces and bungalows. Also, there is a few similar condominiums within a stone's throw away, such as Menara Indah, Menara Mutiara, and Menara Kayangan.
Numerous amenities can be found within short proximity from Menara Impian. About 5 minutes of walking, one can reach Kelab Darul Ehsan (KDE) that has 18-hole golf course, tennis court, and swimming pool. Besides that, if jogging is your favorite exercise, you will definitely enjoy jogging around the hill side of Taman TAR which has been a favorite jogging spot among Ampang residents for years.
Not only that, being a few hundred meters away from Ampang Jaya, Menara Impian is also close to the rows of shop lots in Ampang Jaya. These shops were established since the 1980's, which offer all necessity items for the expatriates. They include Al-Noor and Kiddies Store. Not only that, there is also a food court opposite the shop lots that roofs the famous Nan Corner and Warung Mak Jah.
Furthermore, within Taman TAR enclave, there is Tamarind Spring, a boutique fine dining restaurant with tropical setting. There are 2 international schools located just 5 minutes driving away, namely Mutiara International Grammar School and International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL).
In terms of accessibility, Menara Impian is within the stretch of Jalan Kerja Ayer Lama which is just of Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2). It is about 5 and 10 minutes away from Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH) and Duta-Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE) respectively.
Tranquility and breezy are the two words that describe the ambiance here. Menara Impian is well-surrounded by green hills and lush greenery, making your life calm and peaceful. However, the tranquility is has deteriorated a little nowadays due to massive development of The Peak @ Taman TAR. Hence, if you are a big fan of the hill-side and greenery thingy, you should probably opt for either Menara Indah or Menara Mutiara.
Menara Impian looks really run down, and it desperately needs more than a fresh coat of paint. With its current condition, it does not even look like an established condominium within the affluent enclave of Taman TAR.
